Topsail Hill Preserve State Park

Love Nature But Looking For A More Cozy Bed Than The Great Outdoors?

Guests at 30-A Suites enjoy our boutique hotel amenities while having quick access to one of America’s natural treasures: Topsail Hill Preserve State Park!

Topsail Hill Preserve is a secluded beach area – and so much more – just a few minutes down Scenic Highway 30A.

The park received ReserveAmerica Top Ten Awards for “Amazing Locations,” “Fishing Spots,” “Hiking Trails,” and “Tours and Events.”

Just a hop, skip and jump from your home-away-from-home at 30-A Suites, this park offers a wide variety of natural resources including 3.2 miles of secluded, white sandy beaches and the truly majestic Topsail Hill dune that soars more than 25 feet tall!

Guests can bike, walk, or take a quick tram service once at the preserve to a very secluded and pristine beach to swim, fish, sunbathe, or beachcomb. There are many opportunities to view wildlife – and the park is even listed on the Great Florida Birding Trail!

This weekend, enjoy the South Walton Community Council’s Back to Nature Festival at the Park on Sunday, Oct. 19th from 8:30 am to 10 pm.

Enjoy a full day of interpretive programs and guided nature hikes, followed by an evening of fun with music provided by area bands and a film presentation about the rare Coastal Dune Lakes found only here in Walton County and a handful of places around the globe.

Topsail State Park also offers swimming, bicycling, rollerblading, fishing, nature hiking, bird watching, and picnicking. The preserve is home to an array of animal life, wild beach dunes, pine flatwoods, wet prairies, and maritime hammocks.

Although boats are not allowed, fishing from the shoreline yields a panacea of fresh fish you can bring back to your luxurious suite for dinner!

Enjoy the the natural beauty of SoWal and Topsail Hill Preserve without the camping supplies by staying at the incomparable 30-A Suites!
